Talk About A Revolution
Today the Philippines celebrates the 22nd anniversary of the People Power Revolution.
Peaceful street demonstrations and nonviolent protests lead by civilians, clergymen, nuns, and opposing politicians stopped tanks in their tracks, offered rosaries and flowers and food to the military, and ultimately rendered potentially explosive arms to rest -- putting an end to the tyrannous reign of Ferdinand Marcos and his blasted cronies.
This is a tribute to the men and women who are incessantly standing up for their rights, fighting for peace, justice, freedom, and TRUTH.
