10 On Tuesday: Things To Do When Seeking Refuge Under The Shade
Global warming is at its worst; it's 8 million degrees out and you can't possibly move around without leaking from every pore of your body. What do you do?
Well, first of all, the A/C has got to be switched on at all times. Armed with your most comfortable T-shirt and skimpiest shorts, here are a few things you can do when it's just too hot to go outside...
1. Invite some friends over and make ice-blended refreshments. Alcohol is not compulsory, although it sure would be a lot more fun if there was some.
2. Cold showers. It does serve more than one purpose, you know.
3. Plan a road trip. Traveling in the heat isn't so bad if you got the essentials (e.g. cooler packed with cold refreshments and lots of ice).
4. DVD marathon. Always a good pastime in any kind of weather.
5. Order in. A big cup of Halo-Halo from Chowking is always a good choice. Isn't food delivery awesome?
6. Watch a National Geographic special on the Arctic ice caps and polar bears. Don't underestimate the power of mind simulation.
7. Blog about the heat and how nice and cool it is indoors.
8. Malling. But don't stop there.
9. Go to the next mall.10. Make out. Who needs to go out in the sun when you can make your own heat in the safety of your own home, right?
