Blogging Against Abuse: International Justice Mission

On September 10, Switchfoot held a concert here in Manila for the benefit of the International Justice Mission. As a fan of their music and their convictions, I was glad I could help out just by being there. Proceeds of the concert helped fund the educational and legal assistance of more than 100 children assisted by the IJM.

The IJM is a non-profit organization that documents and monitors conditions of abuse and oppression, educates the public, and mobilizes intervention on behalf of the victims. The Manila office provides free legal, investigative, and social work assistance to abused or exploited children in the National Capital Region.

To get more information on how you can help in this worthwhile cause, please visit the IJM website.
