Well-sung Hero: Paul Potts

I have a new found respect for people who go on nationwide talent searches and bear their souls (or wind pipes, in this case) to millions of viewers. Not to mention the notorious Simon Cowell.

The winner of the hit overseas reality TV show Britain's Got Talent definitely gave people something to talk about (and no, not the way most of us have talked about SANJAYA in the past). I raise my glass to Paul Potts -- once a simple Welsh mobile phone salesman, now the new-age Pavaroti underdog who took home a bajillion pounds AND will get to sing for the Queen of England during the Royal Variety Performance on the 3rd of December.

Enough about the Brits and their bad teeth. Britain does have talent and Paul Potts has proven it time and time again, with his commanding arias and spotless operatic renditions. Watch how he first got on the show (you just have to see this, I swear, you won't regret it one bit) and how he simply blew everyone away with those high-hitters. Cheers to you, Paul Potts! You, sir, are the bomb.
